Eligibility
All the eligibility requirements needed have been provided here below with age as well.
- Age of at least 18 years
- Applicant must be licensed to practice law in any state or territory of the United States or District of Columbia for at least 10 years.
- They shouldn’t be currently disbarred or suspended from the practice of law in another jurisdiction or any foreign jurisdiction.
- Fitness & Good Character as defined by these Rules
- Graduation with a J.D or LL.B. degree from a law school that is fully or provisionally approved by the American Bar Association.

Here is the procedure to pay the Minnesota Bar Exam Fee & along with the time limit:
- Applicants shall pay the application fee or any other fees under these rules by personal check or money order made payable to the Board. And, the Board will accept the fee by credit card or electronic fund transfer only.
- If the applicants meet the following criteria like applying for the first time & paying the fee before or on time i.e Oct 15 for Feb Examination or March 15 for July Examination.
Mn Bar Application Fee Deadline
Application fee deadlines are Dec 1 for the Feb Examination & May 1st for July Examination. For the late fee applicants need to submit the $800. And, the board will not accept the application after the late filing deadline.
Admission
Under the Rule 7B, an examinee who has received a selected score of 145 or high on the Multistate Bar Examination (MBE) in another jurisdiction & is licensed in that judication, may apply for this admission without examination.

Uniform Bar Exam Schedule (UBE)
The bar exam is held twice annually on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of every year, in the months of February and July.

Minnesota Bar Exam Grading & Scoring
In order to pass the Minnesota Bar Exam, the examinee needs to score at least 260. And, the score of the exam sections is weighted as follows: MPT 20%, MBE 50% & MEE 30%. Minnesota makes bar exam results available approximately two months after the exam.

Minnesota Bar Exam is a 2-day UBE Exam. Day 1 consists of two 90 minute Multistate Performance Test Questions & Six 30 Minutes Multistate Essay Exam Questions. And, on Day 2 is the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), a 200 question, multiple-choice exam.
