Eligibility
Applicants must be graduate from law school before going to attempt the bar exam, & you must pass it before you apply for a license to practice law in Colorado. This Bar Examination is given by the Supreme Court Board of Law Examiners.

Bar Exam Late Filling Fees or Deadlines
- No Application Fee or payments will be accepted after Dec 1st for Feb Examinations & May 1st for July Examination.
- There will be a late $200 added for the bar examination application late filing deadline. But, no later than the application filing deadline of Dec 1st for Feb Exams & May 1st for July exams.
- And, the late fees will not be waived in the event an application is filed late as a result of technical problems.
Application Process
Firstly, Applicants have to complete their graduation requirements. Then, take the practicing with Professionalism Course offered by Colorado Bar Association. Then, pass the Multi-State Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) with a scaled score of at least 85. Next, Pass Colorado’s Uniform Bar Exam (UBE) with a scaled score of at least 276.

- Applicants must have to upload the documents only in DOCX & DOC format. Don’t upload documents in JPG, GIF, PNG, etc…
- Photography of a document taken with a cell phone or other photographic device will not be accepted.
- Supporting Documents & Applications will not be accepted by Fax (Facsimile) Machine.
- Documents will be reviewed & flagged with status once your application is submitted & the fee has been paid. You’ll not incur a late application filling fee if a document is marked “Insufficient”.
- Hard Copies are Not required to be submitted. Applicants only need to upload all required documents to your online application portal.

Scores, Grading & Weightage
In order to pay for the Colorado Bar Exam everyone needs to score at least 276. This result will be equating to 138 which was based on MBE’s 200 points scale. And, the score examination was weighted as MEE 30%, MPT 20% & MBE 50%.

- Candidates are permitted to bring one keyboard, peripheral mouse, or laptop cooling pad. And, your laptop must be free of stickers, photos, covers, etc…
- Software Installation/Registration should be done within a given time period only. If you fail to complete the software installation & all required steps prior to the registration closing date.
